Gunsmithing Services
Professional cleaning, repair, installation, and AR-style assembly work from DRD Precision Firearms. Gunsmithing work is based on appointment and performed on a drop-off or shipping basis.
Reliable work, clearly quoted
Minimum service charge is $75.00 per hour. Specialty work and services not listed here may be arranged through a consultation with the gunsmith.
Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnosis, with a $50.00 minimum diagnostic fee
- Repair for failure to feed, failure to eject, and similar issues. The diagnostic fee goes toward the repair.
- Replace parts
- Install upgraded parts, including barrels, triggers, spring kits, and pins
Sight, Optic & Scope Installation
- Install customer-provided sights and red dot optics
- Install scopes, rings, mounts, rails, and bore sighting
- Zeroing and test firing up to 50 yards. Ammunition cost is additional.
AR-Style Assembly & Upgrades
- Build stripped AR uppers or lowers
- Install new stocks, triggers, handguards, or rails
- Install flash hiders, compensators, or other muzzle devices. Parts and timing shims are additional if not supplied by the customer.
- Front sight base removal and gas block installation
Service intake and return terms
Return requirements
If the firearm is returned to the person from whom it was received, paperwork and a background check are not required. DRD does not return firearms to a different person without the necessary paperwork and background check.
Parts and specialty work
Installs, builds, and upgrades may use customer-supplied or ordered parts. Contact the gunsmith to arrange specialty work or services not listed above.
