How long does a custom firearm order take?
Timing varies by build and parts availability. Some builds take 3 to 6 weeks, while more involved rifle builds may take 2 to 6 months. Completed in-stock firearms can be ready in a few days.
Can I order from another state?
Yes, if the firearm meets your state’s legal requirements. You are responsible for compliance, and DRD also checks whether the firearm can be built and shipped legally.
Will a firearm ship directly to me?
No. Firearms ship to a local Federal Firearms License dealer, where you complete the required paperwork and background check. Accessories and complete uppers can ship directly.
